This itinerary will give you an insight into what to expect at our Escape to Dorset menopause retreat. However, please note that some activities are subject to the weather and may change accordingly.
Whilst all activities are optional, we ask that you be as open-minded as possible - the more you immerse yourself in the retreat, the more benefits you will enjoy.

Do I need yoga experience?
Menopause yoga accommodates both beginners and those with experience who are looking to improve their practice. Modifications will be suggested for all yoga sequences/poses to suit beginners and those with any limitations or injuries.
Do I need yoga equipment?
Unless you prefer to bring your own equipment, the venue comes fully equipped with yoga mats and yoga blocks. Sanitary wipes will be provided for good hygiene. You may use towels and pillows from the venue to assist with the relaxing evening yoga practices.
How do I get to the retreat?
The venue for our menopause retreat is The Farmhouse and is located 5 miles from the Georgian market town of Blandford Forum.
By Car: if approaching from the north/east, take the A354 from Salisbury and head towards Blandford Forum until you reach Tarrant Hinton. Turn left down a country road sign posted Tarrant Launceston. Follow the valley road for approximately 0.75 miles and Launceston Farmhouse is on the right hand side, just after the turning for Launceston Farm.
If approaching from the South, head out from Wimborne on the B3082 towards Blandford Forum. When you reach Tarrant Keyneston turn right at The True Lovers Knot pub. Follow the road for approximately three miles, through Tarrant Monkton and the next hamlet you come to is Tarrant Launceston. Continue for another 0.5 miles along the same road and Launceston Farmhouse is on your left.
By Train: the nearest railway stations are Salisbury (15 miles), Poole (15 miles) and Dorchester (23 miles).
By Air: the nearest airports are Bournemouth (24 miles), Southampton (43 miles) and Bristol (70 miles). We are a 2 hour drive from Heathrow and 2.5 hour drive from Gatwick. Please note these are average times only.
From London: leave the M25 at Junction 12 onto the M3. Head south on the M3 towards Southampton, take the A303 towards Andover, turn onto the A338 to Salisbury and then follow directions as above as approaching from north/east.
What’s the cancellation policy?
All bookings require a non-refundable 20% deposit with the remaining balance due in monthly interest-free instalments. The first month's payment is also made at the time of booking with the deposit. Full payment must be paid 60 days before the start date. In the event of cancellation, a refund of payments (excluding the non-refundable deposit) can be made before November 30 2024. Thereafter, no refunds can be made unless someone else is able to take your place. We strongly advise that you take out travel insurance to protect you in case of cancellation.
When are arrival and departure times?
You will need to arrive at the venue by 4pm on Friday 9th May ’25. The check out time is at 10am on Monday 12th May ‘25.
What about special dietary needs?
Only vegetarian meals will be served at the retreat, but vegan options can be prepared if notice is given at the time of booking. Should you have any serious food allergies or intolerances, you must inform us at the time of booking. Please note that we only cater for allergies and intolerances and not for personal preference.
