In this second episode, Julie has the pleasure of chatting to Mandy Young, a physiotherapist from Scotland, who shares her battles with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). She explains just how much yoga has made a difference to her overall health, her menopause, and her life. Mandy has gone from sleeping 16 hour each day and not being able to work for 9 months when CFS was at its peak, to not only embarking on My Yoga Journey, our 7-stage path of progression, but completing it well before many others. She is now one of our esteemed VIP members and an Expert in our yoga community. Despite it now being labelled as a moderate condition, CFS can still curtail Mandy’s activities, but thanks to yoga and her understanding of her body’s needs, she now has a coping mechanism that enables her to lead a normal life.
